Project Pink Night is this Saturday, July 14, at Dilboy Stadium in Somerville and marks the third annual PUMA Project Pink Night for the Boston Breakers. The Breakers players will sport pink jerseys to raise awareness of breast cancer.

There will be a silent auction held during the game, where fans can bid on a number signed pink jerseys to raise money for the Making Strides Aganist Breast Cancer charity.

We're also asking for your support, calling on all fans attending Saturday's game to wear pink shirts, bring pink banners and flags so we can fill the stadium with pink and support a great cause. It's our final home game of the season, so let's go out in style!

T4 Offers FREE Performance Testing Competition at Breakers Game
Are you a powerful soccer player? Find out at Saturday's game! T4 Soccer (www.T4soccer.com), an official partner of the Boston Breakers, will again be conducting a complimentary performance testing competition prior to and during halftime of the Boston Breakers home game against the Philadelphia Fever on Saturday, July 14, that will be open to all attending youth players.

The winners in the following age groups: U12, U14, and U18 will be announced during the game and receive a soccer ball autographed by Breakers captain Leslie Osborne. The T4 vertical jump test determines the athletes maximal jumping ability, which is an indirect indication of the athletes lower body power. Power is the combination of strength and speed and increased lower body strength is critical in soccer for specific movements such as turning, jumping, sprinting and changing pace.

The tests will be undertaken in the fan zone at the T4 promotional tent, using an electronic jump mat under the guidance of an Assessment Specialist. Each player will conduct the tests two times with the athletes best score being placed onto the T4 web-based system. All parents will receive a password protected profile with access to their child's score and how that score compared with the best and average score within their age group in the competition.

T4 staff will also be on site to discuss the benefits of T4 testing and the web-based system score analysis system for clubs, teams and players. Ask about our special Breakers pricing packages available this summer.

Final home game of 2012 is this Saturday!
The Boston Breakers finish out their 2012 WPSL Elite regular season home schedule on Saturday, July 14, at 6 p.m. against the Philadelphia Fever.

The Breakers look to finish out their home schedule with a flawless record in games played on the field at Dilboy Stadium. One match, initially a victory over the Western New York Flash, was deemed a Boston forfeit, however the other five matches all went in favor of the Breakers.

At Dilboy Stadium this season, the Breakers have outscored their opponents, 14-4, and have notched two shutouts courtesy of rookie keeper Alice Binns, one of the top goalkeepers in WPSL Elite. Australian international Kyah Simon, who leads the league with 12 goals, will look to extend her streak to six games with at least one goal scored.

Get your tickets now to avoid disappoinment as all of our home games have sold out this season. We have a total home attendance of 13,036, the highest home attendance in WPSL Elite this season. Another sellout would push us over 15,000 for the season.
